In case you don’t know Brian Atwood, his designs have graced the feet of both Gwyneth Paltrow and host Anne Hathaway at this years Academy Awards. Blake Lively, Zoe Saldana and Victoria Beckham are also fans of his work.
I love his tip IGNORE THE RULES…about “appropriate” daytime footwear. “I love the frivolousness of evening shoes for day. Why wait to put on pretty shoes?”
I totally agree, it is just as easy to put on a strappy pair of pumps with skinny jeans as it is flats. Not only will you look more fashionable and put together but you will also walk with more confidence. It takes a certain attitude to wear sexy shoes in the day, be prepared for the extra attention.
With the holidays right around the corner it is easier than ever to pull off this look. Something with a little sparkle, rich color or in patent leather would be amazing at night or during the day. Paired with an uncomplicated outfit an amazing shoe would be the perfect compliment.
